Responsibilities:
* Utilize your expertise and understanding of eyewear to assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that complement their unique facial features, lifestyle, and prescription requirements.
* Employ your knowledge of lens materials, coatings, and other optical products to educate customers about available options and help them make informed decisions.
* Conduct precise measurements and fittings to ensure proper alignment, comfort, and optimal visual clarity for each customer.
* Demonstrate proficiency in adjusting and repairing eyeglasses, ensuring a perfect fit and lasting satisfaction.
* Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and emerging eyewear designs to continuously provide cutting-edge recommendations to customers.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Optician or in a similar role, showcasing your ability to understand customer needs and provide personalized eyewear solutions.
* Proficiency in interpreting prescriptions and a solid understanding of different lens types and coatings.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers and effectively explain technical information.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to perform precise measurements and fittings.
* Familiarity with eyewear adjustments and repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Stay updated with industry advancements, fashion trends, and best practices in optometry.
Optical dispensing license or certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
