We are seeking a skilled Surgical Scheduler to join our dynamic team at a doctor’s office in Buffalo Grove.
Location: Buffalo Grove
Salary: $19-$22 per hour

Responsibilities:
– Schedule surgical procedures, consultations, and appointments for patients, taking into consideration availability of medical staff and surgical facilities.
– Collaborate with medical staff, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to coordinate surgical procedures and ensure all necessary resources are available.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting patient information, surgical details, and appointment schedules.
– Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for surgical procedures, working closely with billing and administrative teams.

Qualifications:
– Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
– Previous experience in medical scheduling
– Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
– Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
– Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance authorization processes is advantageous.
